At Back & Forth Prints, we specialise in custom skateboard printing for skate shops looking to create their own branded decks. Whether you're launching a promotion, running a local collab, or stocking something unique, we produce high-quality boards using premium materials and eco-friendly production from start to finish.

Why Skate Shops Trust Our Custom Printed Skateboard Decks
Our custom skateboards are built for real skaters by people who live and breathe skateboarding. Whether you are stocking your own brand or dropping collabs, here is why our decks belong in your shop:

Pro Level Quality
We use seven-ply Canadian maple, manufactured by Clutch Distribution to the same standards used by pros. These decks are made to skate, not just to sit on a shelf.
Made by Skaters
Our team are skaters ourselves, so we care about shape, feel and durability. Every board we print are the same ones we skate too.

Each deck is made from 100 percent Canadian maple and manufactured by Clutch Distribution to the same specifications used by top pros. They are hand finished and printed with premium materials to ensure they perform well on the streets and look sharp on display.
If your shop values quality, creativity, and community, we’re here to help you create custom skateboards that truly represent your brand whilst always holding up in the streets.
Our Custom Skateboard Printing Process
Here’s how it works, step by step:
Printing Techniques
Screen Printed Custom Skateboards
We use custom built screen printing presses designed to apply artwork directly onto skateboard decks. This method allows full coverage from truck to truck or nose to tail, creating custom skateboards that look good in the shop and hold up in the streets.
Screen printing is ideal for bold graphics, logos and classic skate designs. While there are some creative limits, we work with each shop to make sure the end result fits your brand and meets the expectations of your local scene.
Every print job is quoted based on your design and order size. Whether you are running a new drop or building your house brand, we are here to help you produce decks that skaters actually want to ride.

Printing Techniquies
Heat Transfer Custom Skateboard Graphics
Heat transfer is another method we use to apply artwork to custom skateboard decks. This technique allows for highly detailed, vibrant graphics, making it a great choice for skate shops that want to create eye-catching designs with sharp visuals and complex colour combinations.
Each colour is printed separately onto a transparent application film using specialist inks. These films are then applied to the deck under heat and pressure at around 200 degrees Celsius, bonding the design directly to the wood.
If your shop’s collection includes detailed artwork, gradients, or photo-based designs, heat transfer may be the best option. We’re here to guide you through the process and help you create custom decks that stand out.

We have worked with skate shops and local scenes to produce custom skateboards that reflect their identity and meet pro level standards. Here are a few examples that highlight the range of what we can create.

Moose Skate Shop
Nasty Craft Collab Decks
We hand screen printed the second custom skateboard series from Dorset brands Moose Skate Shop and Nasty Craft. Each deck highlights unique wood grain and two tone graphics, making every board one of a kind.

Gratitude Skate Shop
Big Logo Decks
We screen printed a series of striking black and white custom skateboards for Bristol’s skater owned Gratitude Skate Shop. The boards were released at the launch party for issue 14 of Dog Piss Magazine.

June Skateshop
10th Anniversary Decks
We printed June Skateshop’s special 10th-anniversary decks. These graphics were done using water-based inks at our new solar-powered studio, keeping the environmental impact as low as possible.
